Check out JRPs exhaust sticky at the top of the page. But here's your answer in my opinion. Best bang for the buck goes to Pacesetter ceramic coated ones. Best header period is the Kooks stainless steel, but you'll pay for em. Good luck with the modding!!!

I would go with QTP's or Kook's, they are some of the best out there.

Go for Pacesetter LT's. After doin' research on what I wanted to get, they just can't be beat for the price, and apparently they have great quality too. I doubt you'd notice any power difference between them and anything 2-3 times the price.

Headers are a big purchase, so I would suggest saving your money until you can afford a set of QTPs or Kooks. I have the Hooker LTs, which are very similar to the Pacesetters, and while I am quite happy with them, I wish I would've spent the extra money to get the QTPs.

Certainly, though, the Pacesetters are an excellent value.

Just my $.02.

I wouldn't waste your money on the ceramic coating. It will wear off in less than a year or so. Stainless is the way to go if you want longivity. I personally went with Hookers because they're cheap enough that when they get really bad I can just replace them. You really won't see a big difference in HP between the various brands of long tube headers. The biggest difference really is the materials they're made from.

Stainless if you have the cash.

Uncoated if you don't.

I have the 1 3/4" QTP HVMC LT's. IMO, the best LT's out there for stock cubes.

I have had two sets, FLP's and QTP's The Flp's were good, but the QTP's are a work of art. I went with 1-7/8's because I was planning a 408 but bought a Vette instead. They didn't seem to hurt my low end any...check sig for graph....

FYI: I see you live in california. Longtubes are illegal so you will have to be lucky or have an alternative means of passing the test. Just in case you didn't already know that. IMO: The stainless headers are woth the extra money. I have surface rust all over my jet-hots. I will be taking them off and sending them to be re-coated for free next year. You get one free recoating within three years.

yep I have a set on the wifes 2000 B4C Camaro. They were so easy to put on, I could've done it w/my eyes closed!!. Kit came complete w/T-404 stainless steel headers, high flow cats and all of the hardware to install them.My state I live in tests emissions, so the egr and all smog crap was there to hook into also. I got mine from [url]www.neweraperformance.com. Mike is a great person to deal with and shipped the next day!!.Cost was about $1000.00.
