Default Widen Fikse FM5's?

Would it be possible to widen Fikse FM5 17x9.5 to a 17x11? I know they are a 3 piece design so I don't know if that changes anything.
Thanks

If it can be done my assumption is that they cost as much if not more total then new 17x11's...so what i would do is sell your 9.5's and get 17x11's if some1s interested

also, I know this has been asked 100's of times but, what is the widest tire I could put on a 9.5inch rim? Is 285 as big as I could go?

I ran a 315 for about 20k miles on my 9.5 rim. I couldnt tell any sort of diference. I didnt drive easy either, I drove it like a maniac for those 20k miles with no apparent danger.

285 is the biggest you can SAFELY go. There are plenty of people who would jam a 315 or 335 on a 9.5" rim, but those are also the people who have a much greater chance of hurting themselves. Now from what I understand, Nitto DR's are the exception, as they are a little narrower than standard 315's and will fit on a 9.5" rim.

LSUxBlake, what wheels do you have? Do you think the Fikse will look good on my Silver WS6? Is 285 a wide enough tire, does it still look "tough". I wanted the agressive look of 315's on TTII's, but I might be able to get these fikses. what would you choose, the fikse or the TTII's?

Call, FIKSE, they can widen them for you.

I have boyd coddington smoothie II's, they are 17x10 and I'm running 285's. The 285's do look wider than the 275, but as you can assume they don't look like 315's. I'd get fiskes if I were you. Light and good looking rims.
