Default LS6 Oil Pump, pressure/problem

I finished installing an ls6 oilpump last week and it has better pressure than my week stock one, 40psi at idle compared to 20, then 50ish compared to 35-40 cruising, but im still a little concernd with the pressure at WOT, now the car shifts at 6,350 (wanted to be safe) but it still doesnt quite reach 60psi when it shifts, very close tho, is this something to be worried about? i figured if i pinched the o-ring the pressure would be substatially worse, but i maybe wrong, any idea's or is this ok? oh yea, it has a TR 224 and comp 918's

I would not be worried. Use a good synthetic oil for extra horsepower and insurance.

Sometimes it can be a faulty oil pressure sending unit. May not be reading quite correctly on the high side. Had a friend that was showing similar pressures to yours at idle and he broke his sending unit changing his intake so he had to replace it and viola he had 40psi at idle and 70 on the top end.
