Ok, I have edited my MIN/MAX MAP when I installed my TSP 231/237 cam. Before editing them, the car would have a MAP Code, trans would upshift premature and no lockup. I havent noticed any other issues since adjusting the values, I believe I raised them 10 each. Looking at the relationship of different parameters, I am wondering if by adjusting these two values I am putting the car into more of a band-aid than a cure? If PE is being seen by the PCM as TPS% vs. ECT vs. MAP etc...then am I throwing off the relationship b/w MAP and all others?
I'm just trying to get a better understanding. Thanks.
