Default New Motto

In light of recent events, I've adopted a new motto......

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, beer in one hand, cigar in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Well OK, so it's been my motto for years.

So are you going to change anything to step it up a notch?

That is simular to the one I adopted in the mid 90s.

"All you can do is live until you die, If you look back and missed out on the living part it is your loss not mine!"

Why yes, I AM! You might recognise the word too Todd.....it's called BLING!!! The first part got here today. The rest should get here by next week (I hope). You know me, I'm a sucker for a pretty part that serves a function.

And your motto reminds me of my old one Ellis: All men die, but few really live.

Reminds me of one Texas Man's last words:

Quick! Hold my beer! Watch this!

Well I guess the point is?

Playing it safe sucks! Always holding back the wild car just to see how it goes leaves you with alot of "could have ,would have ,should haves" DAMN IT I WANT IT NOW!!

I have calmed quite a bit with age. The wreck I had in 97 slowed me down ALOT! You do not see me bombing down old country roads at full speed like you did before that. Nothing held me up. Bashing through 25MPH corners with no fear.

Then again Fear can be your friend when used properly Fear tought me Forsite! To look before you leap. To me that means sizing up your competion BEFORE you call them out

You Know why MOMMA always knew when you wewre lieing? She knew the answers BEFORE your opened your mouth

I like to know the weakness in the other lane BEFORE the race. You can beat ANYONE on the right day "I" can be beat at any time. Open your mouth to much and the extra second you THOUGHT you had on me will dissappear My car has been known to go from 12.60s to 11.7s in one round Hehehe

This is the same out look I take on life in general now. I size it up and Step up!

You only get one trip on this world enjoy it!

Funny how a near-death wreck can change how you drive huh Ellis. I'm not nearly as crazy as I used to be either. Mostly because now I actually have people I care about & something to lose.

And that may have been said in Braveheart Josh, but it did not originate there.

Oh, and the rotors aren't here yet. The blue catch can & polished bracket are. And the valve covers are coming too. So by the end of next week I'm hoping it will look better. Guess I better order some more white rouge.....
