Default TCI 4000 won't lock up??

I had this converter installed by very reputable drivetrain shop in DFW. Install went great and I have not had any probelms with the converter until this morning when I was driving to school. It would not lock up like it normally does. The converter was working just fine last night? Any ideas on what could be causing the problem? I also did a search and which lead me to believe that it could be plugs or wires? It could also be a code for misfires? My SES light came on about a month ago but I didnt have time to check before it went out. Anyways your help is appreciated. Thanks.

Most likley missfire related. My problem went away with a tune. You pretty much have to have the missfire detection turned off in the pcm. I think there is a sticky in the the tuning section that goes into quite a bit of detail. Good luck!
