Quest for traction! So, todays project is complete! Today involved installing my BMR weld on relocation brackets, and poly bushings in the factory lower control arms.
The relocation bracket istallation is pretty straight forward. Unbolt LCA, cut brake bracket in half. Clean the rust off the axle. Bolt the LCA relocation bracket on and weld. The brackets look prettier than the Spohn part, but I have to say that the Spohn is beefier. The BMR is a flat piece that they bend into a C-shape, where the Spohn is actually 5 pieces welded together. BMR supplies washers to add thickness to the bracket, where the spohn welds two thicker pieces to the insides. Just my $.02.
The poly bushings were actually pretty easy to install. Just spray the LCAs with WD-40 and wack the old shells out. Once they are out, press in the new shells, lubricate heavily and reassemble.
Anyway, Hopefully this weekend I'll get to see how my effort works out!

Yeah, I thought my BMR brackets were pretty stout until I slapped this 9" in with brackets welded onto it. Not sure if they are Mosers or what, but man are they heavy duty! Since I've alwyas had a stock converter, I've never hit the suspension hard. I'm about to find out how well it works.
So do you have an adj torque arm Ryan? If you don't mind sharing, what did you set your pinion angle to? Mine is about -2* (nose down) to the D/S, which runs almost level with the tranny pan.

You might consider boxing the stock control arms also. When I added poly bushings to my stock control arms, I had some steel pieces cut to length and welded them along the bottom edges for added strength. I also cut off the little lip, after boxing them, to gain wheel clearance with the 17x11's.
