Default heads(let me get this straight)

Ok, I know 6.0ltr raises compression. 5.7ltr status quo, and 5.3l heads raise compression. Now, to my understanding, are you unable to run a really big cam with the 5.3ltr heads due to p/v clearance? I figured you wouldn't have to due to raised compression, so you don't need a giant cam(i.e. AFR 205s with 228 cam). I was about to order a set of 5.3s, but I think I'll just go with the 5.7s(I'm going to an even larger cam in the near future). Can someone correct me if I'm wrong with this info?

Default

6.0L lowers compression, but i'm sure thats what you ment.

as far as P/V clearence, thats really a combo to combo issue, and i would say we all could speculate how cam x would react with heads y, but untill you measure everything for your setup no one can tell you for sure. call AFR (or whatever other heads your looking at) and ask them.
