Just installed raptor shift light, 2 questions!!
Just installed my blue LED Raptor shift light. Works great!! Two questions, for those with stock PCM tunes, what rpm do you have it set?
Next question, has anyone installed at a location where it would hit sunlight? Has anyone had any trouble with overheating or damageing the unit from sunlight? I did a search but it didnt help with these questions. Thanks!!

Mine is ON the pillar, sunlight hits it as long as it's sunny outside. I've had it about a year and it still looks/works perfectly . I am contemplating switching it into the A/C vent though, to hide it, because every non-car-enthusiast that gets in my car has a different guess as to what it is. I had one girl actually thing it was a microphone, I guess she thought I like to record myself while driving .

I set it at 5800rpms.

My shift light is set at 5900. When logging the data, I found that this put my 1-2 shift right barely to the rev limiter at 6200. The 2-3 and 3-4 shifts happen lower because the rpm's aren't climbing as fast in those gears.
