Default new o2 sensors, GM or Bosch?

ok so i know the vettes are longer, the rear ones, and i have heard that they run hotter and would be good for headers. now the thing is, i think i read that only about the bosch, can anyone confirm the same about the GM ones?

i have pretty new sensors right now and i have extensions, the plug in kind, and i was just wondering if that may throw off some of my readings and if thats the case if these would help. or should there be no issue with the ones i have?

and is this the part number? 25317697

You should go with the Bosch 13111's, they are better than the GM Vette O2s. The GM Vette O2's would be better than fbody ones, though.

Not to highjack the thread, but where can you get the Bosch O2 sensors mentioned above?

autozone carries them... I believe any local parts store (pep boys, autozone, napa) should have them

i got the bosch 13111 from autozone for $75. the wire on it was at least 5" longer than my old o2 and extension combined. the wire is also covered in a thick rubber tube to help it not get burnt.

the bosch corvette rear o2s are better than stock cuz the heater is better and the wire is like 20" long, good for long tubes. a stock corvette sensor is better than bosch and denso is better than all of them, so i heard.

I went into autozone yesterday and picked up a bosch one...

Autozone person: "Can I help you find anything"
Me (as I'm heading towards the oil... was in a rush) "Yea, actually I need a Bosch 13111 O2 Sensor"
Autozone: "wow, how'd you know that part number off the top of your head?"

Lol

Then he has to put in the info for warranty and I messe dup
Autozone: "What car is this for?"
Me: " 2000 Trans Am"
Him: "This part isn't showing up for a 2000 Trans Am, are you sure it's right?"
Me: "Yes, it's for an aftermarket application"
Him: "It's still not showing up"
Me: "OK, put in it's for a 2002 Corvette"
Him: "OK, you're all set"

lol

just got back from doing my research on this thread and I was shocked!

ADvance and Autozone wanted $69.99 for the Bosch 13111's with a 3 month warranty

MY GM dealership here in East Texas wanted $49.99 for the rear vette 2002 o2 senso9r with a 12 month warranty!

Needless to say I placed my order for the Vette o2........what a shockeer

Could one of you guys that have new 02 sensors post a screen shot of the switching at IDLE and crusing down the road (if you have the ability to monitor it)? Reason I ask is because I would like to compare what I see in HPTuners on my 02s to someone that has new ones to see if mine are still working good or if I need to shell out the $60+ each for new Denso universal sensors. Thanks!
