Default lls1 edit help

Hey I got a guy selling a 2 year old version of ls1 edit for 300 with 1 open vin ... good deal??? he says it might need a update what will i miss out on if i dont update will it still work fine?? is ls1 edit the way to go? thanks!

not bad for $300..as long as there is an open vin

as far as the updating....u might can find someone who can send u the updated version...(of course i didnt just type this..nor do i condon this type of action)

If you already have a scanner then, it would be a decent deal. If you don't, I would then get HP Tuners.

Edit does charge like $100 for software upgrades. If you go with FlashScan upgrades are free and it has the logging and tuning on the same cable. Support for LS1Edit might as well be zero when compared to HPTuner or FlashScan. Most people are moving to HPTuner or FlashScan. I moved from LS1Edit to FlashScan and it is like using DOS (edit) vs Windows XP (FlashScan). JMO...

I just traded my LS1Edit Cable in for HP Tuners. LS1 Edit used to be number 1. When you do not keep up with the times, you are pushed out of the market.
