those who have a lightweight battery and a electric fan switch, is it possible to run the electric fan while your in between runs at the track? or will the battery drain itself?

It will probably kill that little battery pretty quick. I haven't run mine down yet, but I am always careful not to leave the radio on or the ignition at ACC so the electric water pump doesn't keep running.

It may be a good idea to buy one of those portable battery chargers and take it to the track with you if you do plan on running the electric fans while the car is off.

Thats why I run a full sized battery, one less thing to worry about, put the battery in the back where the weight helps, and take weight off somewhere else is the way I did it

I had a small battery and in cooler weather it woudln't even turn my motor over. One time I even had to get jumped by a mustang!!! I've opted to put an optima in the back. Just need to get time for the project now.

i would suggest going with something in the 800+ cca range. i just bought an Oddysey 925. light weight, but not the lightest, but i should not see any problems with it even with the fans running in between rounds.
