Default Another x-pipe ?

I have a true dual set up that goes over the axle. I am trying to quiet it down alot. I bought a magnaflow muffler dual in dual out I saw the diagram and there is an x-pipe looking thing with in the muffler. The question is Can I use this instead of my current x-pipe? I know the x-pipe serves as an equalizer, do u think this will do the job? The exhaust flow cross...

like always thanks, dang this is like my 4th exhaust with in 8 months.. I need the answer quick, I am going to the exhaust shop tomorrow...

It might. Only way is to try. What do you have now ? two individual mufflers? two bullets?

I had straight 2.5 pipe on my truck without a crossover and when I switch to my 3" with X pipe I noticed it was I little quieter but deeper so it might do the trick. Historically, an X pipe will be quieter than an H and a H will be quieter than straights, I believe.
