Default Would bad O2's cause rough idle and crappy gas mileage

Getting P1153 and P1133 02 codes, along with crappy gas milage, black smoke, rough idle, and chugging when accelerating.

Any other idea's???
Solution? (besides replace em)

I've 'salvaged' a few O2's using the following:

Go get a propane torch from Lowes. $12

Put your O2 is a vice and hit each side of the O2 for 1 minute with the hottest part of the flame.

It cleans it off.
