Default Took my car to the track tonight

Was bored and decided to take it to the track tonight, was a nice night so my wife I and headed out. Car was not prepped for drag racing duty. Full weight stock tires etc. Below are my problems I was fighting.
Problem #1 car isn't tuned
Problem # 2 car has a bone stock trans in it.
Problem#3 I was on my stock rims and tires front and back
problem #4 stock rear suspension now as well as stock swaybar.
Problem #5 3.23 gear.

all of these thing against me but I still had fun. Best I could get out of it was 11.97@125 with a smoking 2.19 60 ft time I was unable to floor the car untill after the 330 ft mark. Funny thing was I picked up 31mph from the 1/8 mile to the 1/4 mile.
I may got back tomorrow and try a set of ET streets

Thanks. Any day at the track is great even the bad ones! When you drive there and can still drive home it is a good day!

LOL yeah for the first 300 or so feet you have to drive like there is an egg between your foot and the gas My 1/8 time was a 7.95 (should be around a 12.40 pass I did not expect the car to pick up 31 MPH from the 1/8 to the 1/4 But I will take it.

You got some serious pull after the 1/8, put the first 60' together and the other #s will fall into place.

Thanks. So far I am loving it. It has not been on a dyno yet so I am sure there are gains to be made. But I have no doubts it will go easy 10's tomorrow as long as stuff stays together

I assume its an A4?

Brake torque it a bit to preload the ring and pinion and it should live fine with the 3.23s in it

Is the trans stock?

YEp trans is bone stock I doubt I will hurt the rear. The car has been 6's in the 1/8 before just not with this engine combo.
I just had to run it on my regular street tires to see what it would do

Darn, I was hoping you were still close to me, because I need some dyno tuning.
