i raced my buddies 03 cobra on the higway from about 60 to 105 mph. i was in fourth and he was in third, he pulled from mirror to mirror to about his mirror at my fender untill i hit about 3500 rpm then i pulled my rear bumper to his mirror. his car was bone stock, i have headers, gears, weiand intake cat back, no cats. tonight he took the silencer out of the airbox and put on a magnaflow catback. so im guessing its going to be a little different next time.

Good Question Chief! In my opinion(humble), if your going to drag race, use an automatic. Everytime I see the front in drop on a car with a standard in i, I shift right to the next gear. That puts the other guy (or gal) in the "Catch-Up" seat. ~ L.Bowman

i have 4.10's and ill be damnd if i wont throw it in 3rd at 60mph. i did the same thing against my friends bone stock 03 cobra and i got him to my rear-bumper at 110. he pulled the silencer got a k&n and borla catback. now im at his rear bumper at 110mph
