There is a guy with a older porche 928 that wants to race me. I think it is a 928, Its the same one that was in that old movie, Weird Science. i have no idea how fast these cars are. With my mods do you think I can beat this car or are they not that bad in the first place

If it is a 928S4 watch out. One of the only v8 front engine rear wheel drive porsche's ever made. 300h.p. from the factory. If modded good luck.

I can't remember much about "Weird Science" due to how long ago it was made. Anyway, if it's a 928 Turbo or any late model 911... BEWARE! Good luck.

I ran a 928s at rankin,I gave him 2 lengths and beat him by 8 lengths in front of about 100 spectators.I was smoking the tires about 60 feet before I caught traction. 02-5.3-Exc this car should not be a problem. S4's have 320. Non S4's had 300. Anyway, those Porsches can be heavily modded or have a 350CI conversion or something like that but that sh*t takes big cash... Did he seem like a flamboyant big spender, someone who would dump $10000 - $15000 in his car? If not and his car is a stocker, you'll walk his ass. If you're racing him out of a tollbooth on the highway or something, you'll probably take him, but he'll catch up eventually. His car does 171 mph stock. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" />

I got to work on one, once (fixed a hack job on the O2
wiring and ran down a crusted up injector that was making
the thing miss badly). It was a nice car, 5 liter all aluminum.
Seemed pretty light for its size.

I could see these being a menace with a turbo on them,
the transaxle setup had great traction. The NA one I
worked on, was just "plenty sporty".

If your worried about racing an old ass 15 second 928S, then sell your truck, buy a Honda and put stickers on it....pussy.

Go race him and put some money on it to let him know your not scared....$100 ought to do it. If you loose, I would be very very surprised.

If you loose, look in the mirror and call yourself a pussy about 20-30 times, and then go out and buy some nitrous, tires, and other mods...

your truck sounds pretty nice, don't loose to a dirk diggler porsche!!!!!!

you should be able to take him on, if his 928 isn't modded.

you guys do realize this thread is a year and a half old, right?

Hell, the old ass tags are still on it from when the forum used to be run on UBB.
