I could see the big three ALL being in trouble... as long as gas prices are on the up and up and wages arent overall increased to the common working man/woman, than the big three will be in trouble with all the powerful cars.

Hopefully ppl will stay faithful to whatever company they like and not go out and buy a foregin car for the mileage.. while Dodge, Ford, and GM all have fuel effiecent cars as well.

GO USA! lol.

it seperates the h2 from water using solar power
only 1 TINY problem, to store the h2 as a liquid you have to cool it to -253 degrees celsius. kinda cold

Fuel cells are great in theory but expensive in practice.

Plus, I would never permanently give up the rumble and noise of an American V8. Maybe for a DD, but I'd keep my WS6 (and any other toys I'll purchase along the way).

And the backfire there is oil will still get more expensive as the supply will become markedly less available if a massive switch were implemented.

Hydrogen or fuel cells won't become a reality because of the lack of infrastructure to support the refueling. At least it won't become a reality in our lifetime. An alternative fuel such as ethanol will more likely take over from gasoline. It's made from a renewable resource and can be transported, store, and sold using the existing infrastructure gasoline uses.
