Default engine cuts out

I have a 01 ls1 in a 93 chevy truck it has been running great here lately until tonight when i got down on it tonight it ran great shifted at 6500 pulled hard as hell then went out to a highway later that night with my buddy behind me did it again punched it at about a 3500 rpm kick at about 5000rpms it cut out like i turned the engine off then it went back into power but i never had to restart the engine so it never died, So i did a dead stop run at 5200 blam did it again let out of it shifted into second while in second i creeped into it and let the rpms get up and once it hit 5200 blam again it fell on its face my buddy said it spit all kinds of black smoke out and he could tell it cutout cause my truck was squating then the front slammed back down, I have two walbro pumps on it and the fuel pressure gauge never dropped, It has a f1 cam with .591 lift patriot gold valve springs 7.4 hardened pushrods i dont believe it is internal i had the truck computer tuned and it has been running great till tonight. Any help guys thanks for any

well unfortunatly there is no way to tell for sure just by looking at them. but look at the motor while the car is running and if u can see the wires arching. then get a spray bottle and spray the wires and caps to see if it becomes visible.
