Default Street tire for 408...

Ok, I am going to be street driving, not racing, my 408. I have 17x9 rims on the car with 285/45/17 crappy tires on there now. I was thinking of going with some M&H DR tires in the size of 275/50/17, will those fit without rubbing?

Ok, i've been doing some reading and will go with some MT's, either streets or radials, havent decided yet. If I go with streets i'll need to get some rime like welds or bogarts. Anyone street drive either of these?

I have the MT radials 325 50 15's. Fine on the street, a little bouncy.

What rims do you have those on? Welds? Did you have to bang a lot of the wheel well?
