Default Who builds the best auto

Guys I am projecting making over 750 RWHP and can you give me a quote on one that handle 750+ RWHP, does anyone know of any 4L60 E's that can handle that power, this CAS kit doesn't fit with a TH400 I don't think, that is why the guy sold it.

whats a 'CAS' kit? Have you looked into 4L80E's? Thats the only electronic a4 that'll hold that kind of power.

Default 4l80 E

who makes it and where I can get the best price on one, the 4L60 E I have is rated to hold 650 RWHP so it would have to be better than that Thanks.

Quite a few companies make the 80E built. However stock they are very tough, 1-3rd gear uses the same components as a th400. basically its a th400 with electronics, OD, and a lockup. Search the forums for builders and call Yank, they make conversion kits but its not listed on the website. www.converter.cc

There's some debate about this transmission because it weights a little more and requires some custom wiring mods to make it work with the stock pcm. Also the stock gear ratio isn't the best, but they can be changed, many aftermarket 1st and 2nd gear ratios exist.

Not sure. One company sells a 4L80 for 1000hp

If extreme th400's can hold 2000hp I figure the 80E can do at least half that if built properly.
