Default what are the stock injectors rated at 3 or 4 bar??

i have been searching on this and found no real answer some say 3 some say 4. if the stock injectors are rated at 3 bar then that would explain why my tune for the bigger injectors is screwed up. so does anyone know? they are the stockers for 2000, like 26.4# or something like that

Stock LS1 injectors are at 58# (4 bar for the technical folk). Most aftermarket brands are rated for about 42.5. Something to consider when upgrading injectors.

i just dug up some old posts from 2002 on zo6vette.com and seems people are split there on the ratings too. lots of weird talk goin on too, lol. in the computer it has it as 26.4lb/hr at 0 kpa vacuum so common sense woudl say they are rated for 4 bar, unless our computers are set up differently to accept 3 bar numbers

i just really wish the answer is 3 bar so my car can run lol. i also read that big injectors on a bolt on car wont help out, makes it run bad. so maybe thats it. but every table i see of 38# injectors is actually scaled a lot smaller that waht the calculations come out to be

I dont see why a bigger injector would make a car run bad provided the IFR table was scaled correctly the only diiference would be shorter duty cycle and that would actually benefit the injector...you could go too big I suppose but it would have to be way oversize runnin 20% DC or lower that would be out of the injector's effective range......I'm suprised a sponsor hasnt jumped in too test a stock injectors flow rate and straighten the facts out...the only advice i can give is to keep pluggin away you'll get it figured out

well the bottom line is that it doesnt matter what they are rated at.. move your ifr slope up or down until your having slightly negative l trims (lock to 0 at wide open) and thats it.

yeah i know i just figured it would be better to have the correct numbers in the computer, but ill take the advice from the 9 sec guy lol

motor is stock internally right now with bolt ons, shoudl i just wait to do the injecotrs until the cam or would they be ok with a pretty mcuh stock motor if the flow ratings are adjsuted right? i wanted to get these dialed in before i put in the cam and heads and got it all screwed up but if i wait and its better then ill wait. i dont want to mess with drivability now

table is set at the 3 bar number for 37.8 not at 4 bar and my issues seem (knock on wood) to have disappeared
