Default Help with Drag radials(size and opinion)

Heres the deal. I just installed a Moser 9 inch in my Z with a 6 speed. With a 26 inch tall tire I have to shift to 5th in the 1/4 now. I am fixin to order some 15X10 Prostars for the rear and would like to have some ET drag radials. Therefore I need a Et dr that will fit on a 10 inch rim and be 28 inches tall. The car has a 4:30 gear and Im tring to gear it up a tad. I am also concerned about clearance issues. Wouldnt bother me to do away with the bump stop but I hate to roll the fender lips. Any suggestions, advice?

325/50-15. If you are worried they might rub the lip, I have seen a pic of a 275/60-15 mounted on a 10" wheel.

Gator, what clearancing did u need to do?

I think Walt might need to keep an eye on the front metal lip on the inside of the wheelwell, and up high where the fenderweel curves (opposite where the rear seats are bolted). Might need to hammer in a bit at the top.

That is for 28x11.5 et streets or 275-60-15 dr's. For 325-50-15's you will definitely need to hammer at that top spot.

no clearancing/cutting needed. took a rubber mallet and slightly banged in any dimples in the metal on the front and rear lip to make sure it wouldnt touch. rearend is narrowed so that might have something to do with it.

Not a radial so sorry for

27" Hoosier Quick Time Pros, non radial but DOT. You will not need to clearance the fender lip with stock rear springs and you will lower your trap RPM some, hopefully enough.

Alright, I think Ill order 15X10 Prostars with 7.7 backspacing and some 275/60/15 ET drag radials. It has the stock springs on a 9 inch so we'll see how it turns out. Thanks a lot fellas.
