Help Cam Question
I Was Thinking About Buying A 2002 Ss. The Owner Siad He Did A Cam Job But I Cant Hear It At All! He Siad It Is A Sleeper Cam. It Still Has Stock Manifold And The Heads Look Normal Too, Is There Any Way To Check Before I Consider Buying The Car?

Not really. If it's a mild cam, it would be really hard to detect especially with stock manifolds.
Is it a PITA to capitalize every word you type? I would get tired of hitting the shift key.

If you can get the valve cover off, a dial gauge will measure the lift fairly accurately.
With the lifters still pumped, you can get a good idea of what the cam lobe
is doing.
All you need is a method to rotate the crank by hand.

the easy way would be to take it to a dyno for a few bucks... and see if he is lying!!!
if its 300-315rwhp he's a damn lier!!!! if it had ANY cam it should be around 330-340rwhp.....
