Default my Z06 nitrous..does everything look right?56k warning pics inside

do to seeing that yellow z06 blow up on his nitrous run, i thought id post pics of my install before i used the juice... i ran copper hard lines for the nitrous and fuel fro the silenoids to the fogger nozzle. also, the fuel line was run off the driver side fuel rail threw a fuel filter to the fuel silenoid. i have a dual purge set up, and all the silenoids are mounted on the frame behind the wheel well. the purge button is mounted above the activation switch which was placed in the cigarette light place.the WOT switch was mounted under the pedal. i have a shift light all ready.. set at 6300rpms...other than my bottle not having the **** on it, which cracked, does everthing look right?nothing was run near moving or hot parts.. i don't have a window switch which i plan on getting....anyone have concerns or suggestions? also the fuel silenoid is mount a little sideway, is that a problem? all silenoids click when activated...the purge looks awesome with 2 huge pluges shooting out..thanks for the help!!

Looks good to me,but if I were you I would get a RPM window switch so if you miss a gear you will not kill your motor.Thats what I would do.What shot are you running.

125 is what is in there now...i just want to make sure everything is good... this is my 3rd wet system i have installed...but until i have done 1000 plus i'll always want others to weigh in.

fuel pump??? Stock is OK for 125 shot and no other mods, but a Racetronix, LPE, or just a Walboro 340 with a modified bucket would be cheap insurance...

i have tpis headers ,random tech. xpipe ,corsa exhaust,msd plugs, mild cam... should i get the fuel pump or will i be ok?

I would get a fuel pump you can get a walbro 255LPH $100-130

all i know is that your fuel line going to the driver side fuel rail looks to be as its bulging out around that zip tie... ive used low pressure line temporarily and you can tell its almost twice the size when used...correct me if im wrong but id double check that line...nobody wants a fire under their hood@!

"Work Hardning" Ever hear of it? That copper line is going to fatigue near ANY part that is not copper, because it is more rigid than the copper. It WILL BREAK the line.

Please tell me that your not going to trust that copper line for nitrous and fuel? I know that spending foolishly is not good, but the premade, or NOS lines are a WAY better bet than that copper.

Im not saying you cant, But I wouldnt. < That's just me.

I wouldnt trust that ferrell stuff, as I've seen many customers that cant get a 40psi oil line to not leak, let alone a 1000 psi nitrous line, with a 55psi fuel line.

Stock Corvette fuel pumps are good to 550hp, and many are running them at 600hp plus. It's your choice. Do some research. Nice install except for the wiring, imo. I have some pics in web showing some wiring if interested.

if you're really concerned about safety [& i think you are] i would get a fuel pressure safety switch in addition to the w.o.t. switch. also do you have a nitrous filter? most 'noid failures are a direct result of inline trash & imho untill you dyno the car you won't know if the stock fuel pump is getting enough fuel to the engine.

Dude.. That's exactly how that yellow Z06 blew his motor up! He wasn't using a window switch, only a WOT switch. Had nitrous activated at the line, launched, WOT, nitrous is now spraying, bogged, 1000rpm, foot still to floor, nitrous still spraying.... BOOM.. Get a window switch!

i agree with him about the copper for a purge line thats cool cuz if it leaks no biggie. but to ur nozzle id b scared. also im not so sure i wouldnt get rid of the fuel filter between fuel rail and solenoid. because if for some reason it gets clogged up thats an instant lean shot of nitrous to ur motor and they dont like that very well. when its a dry shot coming from a wet kit. just my 2 cents

I agree with the copper line. Also, try saudering all of your wires, the plastic butt splices have a tendacy to come apart and moisture and crap get into the butt connectors and will corrode the wire. Try saudering and using shrink tube. You can pick up shrink tubing at any auto parts store or electronics store. I did all of my wiring with colored plastic wire loom (split duct), saudering, black zip-ties (they last longer than colored or white ones), and a glue filled shrink tube. Trust me, I do wiring on Cats and heavy machinery, the process works good and lasts.

another thing... is it just me or it seems to be a wet kit having fuel + N2O sprayed before the MAF ???
