Default need Cam help with my 205 AFR heads?

i have a 2000 Camaro with full bolt ons, 90mm FAST LSX, MAC mid length+ Y pipe, Borla cat back, 3000 Stall TC

just got my AFR 205 Heads but i dont know what Cam Shaft would perform best for my set up?

what do you think about the MTI G1 (228/232 .588/.575 113 LSA) ?

what Cam shaft do you think that would perform BEST for my set up and for both N/A and N2O? ------> (150 wet shot NX)

thanks guys
waiting for help

I have direct expierence with two cams and AFR's, A third very shortly.

Look in my sig for one example. The other one was with the same heads and a MTI stealth 2 cam.... all I can say is, Don't use that cam with those heads. Third cam is the one That AFR recomends, 224/228 581/588 114 + 1. I am just waiting for the energy to swap heads again, lol. I stole them from my gf and she wants them back, lol.

I would go with the AFR cam 224/228 114LSA 113ICL. That'll work great on spray and make good all around power NA

For all around street >>>AFR 224/228, it is tailored for those heads obviously.

And you won't unless someone that has it discloses it to you.

It is a little bigger than X2

i just finished installing the AFR and g5x3 combo. i feel if you go with the 224/228 cam you'll be leaving power on the table. the x3 cam idles great and don't shake the car bad. it drives nice on the street and best of all it pulls hard all the way to my 7,000rpm redline.

The G5X3 is is more of a max effort cam VS the AFR 224/228 (street friendly)
Low useable Trq in the 224/228 comes on earlier in the rpms which makes it more street rpm oriented.
G5X3 will make more trq but will peak later at rpms higher than the usual street daily driven use.

my x3 cam is street friendly and i'm still on the x2 tune. no serging or stumbling no loss of low tq. it's street friendly.
