Default Leaving Bottle open ok?

Just wondered if it's cool to leavve my bottle open all the time. I was wondering if any of you spray users do that? I keep getting caught slippin with it closed (missing out on SPRAYING fools) so I was wondering if it is dangerous or not, someone on another board said the pressure against the noid all the time isnt good..........????

I need a bottle opener!!!!

overtime, spray will leak out with all of the fittings and such from the bottle to the motor
plus i heard it was hard on the solenoids to have the much pressure constantly against them
get a NX bottle opener from Nitro Dave or Speed Inc

I have left mine open (mech valve) for up to 6-months at a time. I have a electric opener that is always on (switched 12v ign to activate) that way anytime I start car bottle opens. I took bubble spray (dish soap/h2o) and checked all my fittings and I don't loose any n2o. It is an industrial noid, but all the noids are tested/designed for pressures excceding our press. I also do not purge my line at the end of day, but have redundant n2o noids on my dry, they are the cheaper 5177 noids and I have often checked before starting car and press is still always there (main supply line). As, with all matters concerning n2o there is a small risk of problems. Only you can decide if it's for you.

BAD IDEA! If your solenoid leaks and fills up your motor. You will go to start it and >>> KA BOOOOMMM! Not worth it.. Shut the bottle off.

Bad Idea? What you say though is potentialy correct. However, that's why I do it with the redundant noids, chances of two noids goig bad at the same time are about "0". Actually, I have three noids inline, closed, when shut off.

Bad juju. I always take the safe side of things when it comes to juice. No sense in applying un-needed stress on them. Besides laziness, why would anyone want to?

I have always left mine open in any of my bottle fed cars for the last 7 years. Never had a problem. I randomly check all fittings with soapy water, and thats about it.

Some people differ from experience but you can never be too safe since no one wants to end up the one with the bad experience so I would say the bottle opener is a safe way to go, or at least close it when your not using it.
