Default Help: 99 t.a. trans

long story short the dipstick tube on my transmission is broke, is there anyway to install it without droping the transmission, i need help bad guys i dont want to pull it out again (transmission)!

No idea, seems like a pretty tight fit though. I would say best case you'll at least have to take the tranny mount out and let the tranny sag on the motor mounts and might be able to get it that way. I didn't really pay that much attention to it but did notice it fits in there pretty tight. I was able to get at my bolt and get the stick in and out with it basically just sagging on the mounts. An offset 15 mm boxed end came in real handy there.

I just had my trany out. I think that dip stick is going to be a bitch, even with the trans out. Call the dealer and ask them what is the book time on the dip stick, if they say 1 hour. That would mean there is a way to do it and not pull the trany out. If they say 5 to 6 hours, your screwed, trany got to come out. hope this helps
