Pontiac Firebird 1967-2002 - What do i have here...?

Ok i bought a T/A/Firebird? i dont know what it is it has all the firebird ground effects. but it says T/A on the door? And it also says Firebird on the center piece between the tail lights.. Trans am or firebird???

Most likely a Formula Firebird (if its a V8) with the Trans Am door emblems stuck on, if its a V8.

If you really wanna make sure, check your RPO codes for Y82 (Trans Am designation)

Tall raised spoiler, or short flush one?? and does your front bumber look like the on in my sig (fog lights right by the licence plate)?

For your information: ALL T/A's,Formulas, V-6's are all Firebirds. A Trans Am is when you have the ground effects, tall spoiler, fog lights-so it's a Firebird Trans Am. And if you have a V-6 car it's a Firebird only. If you have the V-6 body with the V-8 drivetrain it's a Firebird Formula.
My car is a mouthful--- I have a Firebird Trans Am Firehawk.

If it's cloth interior, it's most likely a Formula. But like FBDYLVR said, check your RPO codes. That's the way I found out my car has a 3.23 rear instead of the 2.73s.
