Default Banging Y pipe solutions?

Anyone have any pics or exact details on how to fix the banging ORY problem? I've adjusted as much as I can and it still bangs under WOT. I also do not want o use the BFH mod on the floor either

Is the only fix a solid driver side poly mount? If so, where can I find one and how much will it generally cost?

Thanks
Brandon

Running pacesetter here. With a hooker ORY with no banging issues because of this

The motor mounts are another way.

One way is what JMblownWS6 said the exhust hanger. Or welding a valve spring in between the floor pan and the Ypipe. Mine hit the floor too untill I had my ypipe redone.

Where does this hanger go? I have a QTP Y and it's banging on the driver side only.

Also, does anyone else have problems with the driver side on QTP Ys? Or did I just do a terrible job of installing it?

You could make your own mount to stop the banging.

I thought about the hanger too at first, but then I thought about how the engine was still moving, but the pipe was not, and then I thought about how much stress that would put on the header flange.

Long story short, I installed the polys, and couldn't be happier.

I had the same concern, how much enrgy was being exerted into the flanges, but I couldnt get any answers. I think you would be ok with some sort of rubber donut mount.

Really?!?!? Wow thanks man... so helpful I said above I did a few searches and came up with answers but no pics. Why not post a link if you did the search and found it? Whenever I call a repost I at least post a link to something that is helpful instead of cluttering the thread with a useless agrivating answer that does the person absolutely no good.

To the others. Thanks for the help thus far. Where can I get a single poly mount for the driver side? Or should I search for that too....
