Default Question for 2OTL owners or whoever knows

Right now I have a Magnaflow catback and I'm waiting to put on an SLP 2OTL muffer and tips that I purchased. However, the over-the-axle pipe that is included with the 2OTL catback has a little "hanger" thing on it.

For anyone that knows, what purpose does it serve? Does it brace off of something or hang on something? No other catback on the market has this. I'm assuming since there's no dual-side tips to hang support from, it clips over something, but I have no idea.

It's the pipe on the upper right:

Thanks for any help.

Slip the hanger into the bracket which is mounted right above it.

A bracket already mounted on the car or do you speak of one that comes with the catback?

Would it be possible to make one of those hangers to fit onto a Magnaflow pipe?
