Default Which intake???????

OK. I 'm a full bolt on car. not considering a heads and cam right now. probably will not. I am trying to decide between LSX, which TB?, weind, BBK, holley or Reg ls6. I am at 4200 ft on elevation. what should I do. since I probably will not be installing a heads and cam.

if you're not getting a cam don't waste your money on an lsx. if your car's not an 01 or 02 maybe try to buy a used ls6 intake. and just port the stock throttle body

Well I run with the velocity stack and they have told me not to even bother porting it because it won't make a difference. As a matter of fact if I put 2 and 2 together it may even hurt me beacuse one of the points of the velocity stack is to bypass the idle control slot so as to not create turbulane. if i port the TB and use it like that without the Velocity stack then I would still create turbulance even with a ported TB. unless I find a way to block it by cutting a special piece for the idle control slot. not sure if this theory is correct but i would appreciate anyone's take one this.

I will be buying at least an Ls6. but what i want to know is if I should buy a weing, holley, or BBK instead as they have porting capabilities and are aluminum

Why would you want to port a velocity stack. They are already ported inherently by design no extra porting is possible.

I meant porting a tb but i am not sure if porting the tb or even obtaining a better TB or bigger Tb will help more than already having a velocity stack
