ok this guy at my work just finished his car. he said he would race me if i wanted to just to see and compare, hes pretty cool like you know not all "my ricer is so fast it has a turbo" anyway it is a V6 01' Eclipse has a turbonetics T-4 running on 7psi and a 3in downpipe thats about it. we both have street tires. now who do you think would win? we will run both from a dig and a roll. all i have is mods in sig and im a pretty good driver and so is he. any tips? thanks. --andrew

Didn't see that it was a V6. Those are heavy cars. He's probably making a decent amount of power, but not more than you. I'm guessing a drivers race. With your better torque, take him from a dig.

how much power you think he is makein' i have shitty tires right now (kumho ectsa, almost bald) what about like a 30mph roll you think he would take me? thanks man

Fear not, for Torque is with you!! From a Dig you should take him, from a roll...you should still take him in the long run.....A buddy of mine has a WS6 with just a lid and broke 11:99. you have a lid and exhaust you should make him wimper!! LMAO

If all he did was throw a turbo and exhaust on without any other mods and tuning, I think you will take him. Find out what all he has done or just race him already

with the turbo id say hes got a little more than 300 crank with no suspension mods he not puttin a lot down.
race him and find out then get headers and a t/c

thanks guys im gonna race him tomorrow he does not have and suspen. mods but i noticed that it sounded like it was gonna die like a bad misfire, but he said he had it tuned at a shop so i dont know ill let you guys know what happens. oh yeah is $290 for 2 BFG g-Force kdw's mount and balance is that a good deal? thanks again--andrew

whats up thomas. yeah its silver, and lowered. im gonna see what all we have to do tomorrow and maybe on lunch ill race him. i can try and tape it, i dont know how well it will turn out. someone will have to host it.-andrew

They are quick but prob. not as fast as you. Besides, if he didn't do engine internals he will be closing plug gaps and collapsing lifters. The one we did at my shop made about 260-280hp at the wheels(been awhile since it was done) @ 5psi. But the engine will start missfiring if he rev's it over 5500rpm.

well i raced him today....and i won both races we did a roll from 25mph and from a quick stop. first one was a roll coming right out of the base at the gas station. i had it in 2nd i mashed it and totaly left him like it wasent even funny i was vary supprised he blew the horn and he droped back like 2 cars then 3......4 and i shut it down at like 4 1/2 maybe like 5. i though he missed a gear. but nope, he was laughing hard and said "well that was fun". i asked if he still wanted to go from a dig and he said yeah. so we went down a backroad and stopped. i didnt burn the tires at all just cuz they suck. It was prolly just under an 1/8 mi we raced. i left it in 2nd and i called it this time. i spun till it shifted to 2nd then somemore, he was at my door till it shifted to 2nd and i left him again. i kept pulling away from him it was real fun. i totaly forgot about the vid. but im sure this wont be the last time we race.

lol man i cant believe u were worried those things suck.....sry if that offends anybody but it does..the older eclipes were better in my opinion but even those were slow too...nice kill+
