Best Drag Racing Posi???
The posi is starting to go out, so I will be replacing it before I make any trips to the track this year. I am looking at the Eaton or Auburn Pro Series, but would like to know what would you drag racers recommend? (Other than real rearend, the heads are going in first, then the rear.)
Thanks
Thanks

IMO you're fighting a losing battle running a posi in a drag race application. My Eaton posi in the 9" lasted about 50 passes with BFGs before it quit posi-ing. Depending on how long till you do a rear upgrade I'd either get a spool for the current 7.5" rear or a complete used 7.5" posi axel assembly. Just my opinion.

No Problem So Far From The Auburn Pro Series Locker That I Have. I Used It In A Car That Did 1.44 - 1.48 60' Times With No Problem. Now It Resides In The Camaro That Cuts Much Softer 1.65 - 1.70 60' Times. I Have Torn Up Two Mini Spools In The Past And Did The Weld Up Thing For A While. Just Avoid The Trouble The First Time, Do It Right And Forget About It. (unless You Like Spending Your Weekends Off On Your Back Changing Out Broken Carriers).
