Angry Got owned by an import

Well kinda. I was actually going up to MSU to visit my girlfriend for the weekend and it was raining out and obiviously a little slippery. Well the fast lane merges into the lane that I'm driving in and traffic was heavy and everyone was comming to a stop, everyone except the Honda Civic that just merged in behind me and rear-ended me!!! The worst part was that traffic couldn't have been going more than 15mph before we stopped, but this guys was speeding for some reason and didn't see me stop. Luckly this happened about 20ft from an small fender bender that a cop was attending to so I really didn't have to wait that long but I was so F****** mad I almost cried. So now my baby sits at home and pretty much everything from the doors back is screwed. So if anybody knows of any good body shops in SE MI please let me know, I just don't want the car comming back looking like crap, I will cry and

Wow man that sucks. If it cost more to repair the car then it's worth doesn't insurance give you the value of the car(or maybe a bit more)?

Bummer, People drive pretty crazy around there. I went to high school 8 mile East of East Lansing so I know the traffic can get pretty nasty there.

If It Makes You Feel Any Better. The Other Day I Was In The Gas Station And I Was Pulling Out After Filling Up. I Had To Squeeze Between Two Cars(1 On Each Side Of Me) To Exit. While Im Inching My Way Between The Cars The Idiot On The Right Swings His Door Open, Right As My Car Is Approching His Door.(with No Time To Do Anything) So His Door Gets Hit My Front Right Bumper And Damages My Paint And Broke My Blinker. The Idiot Gives Me His Ins. Info And Siad How Sorry He Was. Long Story Short His Ins. Comp. Is Fighting It Saying I Ran Into His Door And I Should Have To Pay! Damage Is $600!!! Even Kids Know They Should Look Before Opening The Door, Especially When Cars Might Be Passing!

Yeah he had insurance and his insurance company will have to pay for the damage, but its nothing thats going to happen overnight. I'm just hoping the car will still look the same after its fixed and not lopsided or something.

dude i feel your pain, i got rear ended the same way, except it was more on the driver side rear , i still had the temp tags on it and in a week or so was gonna be my first payment , thier insurance paid for it and i took it to a dealership body shop they are usually the best, and they fixed it, it looks just like new, but if you look real close you can tell in some areas, but it still looks nice

it might take them a little while, my old neon got stolen and somehow not totaled ($5000 worth of damage and the car only cost $6000)

took them a while longer then they said but it came back perfect.

Update
So the dealership calls me today and the guy says he tore the car apart and found out that the repair cost would be somewhere around $6500 and change and maybe more when he takes off the gas tank. Wow didn't expect that seeing as it didn't look too bad but the worst part is he says it'll take a month to fix. I hate Honda.
