SS vs GTO
Just curious as to what you guys thought about this. Got a race tommorow night against a 04 GTO. Both mine and his car are stock; mine being M6 and his A4. Just wondering what you guys think the turnout should be. I'm thinking I'll get him by one. I'll post results when it happens. Thanks

I think bc you are lighter by about 300lbs and have basically the same HP (underrated SS's) and u have lower 3.42 gears, it will be a no contest. You will definatly WIN BIG!

Thanks for the responses. I can launch the car pretty good and shifting isn't a problem. I raced my frined's 98Z with a few bolt ons and 342 gears from a 30 roll and by 5th I had 2 on him. He has an A4. Looking forward to the race and I'll post results. Thanks again.

Sorry, but the guy with the GTO cancelled. He now says he'll only race for money. What you guys think. Trying to pull something or overconfident? Thanks for any responses.

Not sure how much but he says it has to be for money to get him out to race. I wanted to just do it just for the fun of it but he wants to put money down. I think I'll ask for the emblems off his car and a little cash if I win.

Yeah, I agree. I appreciate the responses and help. I think I'll take him up on the offer and see how things go. Again, if things change or we do race I'll post results.

I'd ask for a look under the hood and scoop out what he has. If he won't go for that, then he's not even worth the time to talk about a race... just be sure to "happen upon him" on the street some time.
