Default Can stock LS1 intake be ported?

I am wondering if this would possible and appox. how much it would cost? Also, would a ported/polished LS1 intake be as good as a LS6 intake?

I am relatively new to intakes and what can be done to them, so please go easy on me. thx.

yes it can be done...dunno how much...would not be anywhere near as good as an ls6 intake...you'd be MUCH better off by just buying an ls6...you can pic them up used fairly easily since a lot of people go with the fast nowadays...(big $$$ though)
