pcm flashing???
i have a small problem. i need to know where i can find the software to change fuel map spark curve etc. i have the cable to go from rs232 to the obdII through a VSI class 2 box but my software will only let you read sensor data and diagnostics not reflash new tables created. so i guess im wondering is whats the best one and i dont want one that locks after 2 vin #'s
i have talked with several gm calibration engineers but they said they dont have access to the old software they are using much updated stuff that wont work for 98-02 ls1's so i need some info i guess i have to buy some software any info would help
thanks

Board sponsor, not locked to a VIN... you get 2 licenses when you purchase and the licenses are Year/Engine locked... so if you buy a copy for a 2000 F-Body V8, it'll work on any 2000 F-Body V8 w/no locking to the PCMs

EFILive and LS1Edit can only be used on one vehicle per license, unlike those HPTuners can tune any vehicle with the same year/model with one license. HPTuners is the most popular choice and has great customer support ... both internal and among it's clients. LS1-Edit is no longer a choice with LS1 tuning, it pretty much is EFILive or HPTuners. I prefer HPTuners!
