You'll probably be okay, but next time put some stabil in there before you let her sit for the winter!

Grimes hit the nail on the head. Stabil in the proper amount and you will never have to worry. Is the tank full? If not I would fill it up with new gas and add a $5 bottle of Chevron Techron Fuel System cleaner just to be safe.

I forgot to put gas stable in mine last year and I fired it up the other day. It started like it has been sitting for a day a not 6+ months. It's been running real good and the A/F ratio is still perfect & smooth but I'll probrably run some fuel system cleaner through it anyway once all the old gas is gone.

I worked at a motorcycle dealership for 10 years in a previous life LOL but what was funny was that on a lot of bikes after 6-7 months the gas would turn green in color/tint and smell just like terpentine, it seems to be worse with bikes than cars.

Just drive it gently for a while, since that fuel will have lost quite a few octane points. My suggestion would be to drive it on the highway to burn off a lot of the fuel quickly. Keep topping it up with fresh fuel every 100 miles, and by the time you've put about 300 miles on it you should have a much stronger mix of fuel in there and then you're good to go.
