anybody completely disassembled FAST intake?
Has anybody ever taken their 90mm FAST intake completely apart. 3 pieces top bottom and middle section which is siliconed in and held with 8 torx screws.
I took mine apart and am wondering what kind of silicone is recommended. I also need to know if and where I can get the gaskets that seal the top and bottom half of the manifold. I pulled this gasket out which is actually sections with silicone at the connections.
I will call FAST tomorrow......but wanted to see if anyone has done it before
Thanks Tom Ulrich

BTW - Did you check where the MAP seals to the intake for leaks?

I would not look to the intake manifold to solve low vaccum problems. Have you recently rebuilt or installed a built motor?

The fast intakes are warped at the surface that matches up with the head/intake port. You probably have a leak in this area. Get another intake or use some hi temp silicon to make sure it seals. I have bitched about this before. 2 intakes purchased 12 months apart and both warped. I asked Kris to check mine before he shipped it. I can only assume all of them are warped. If they would only redesign the bolt bosses so the torque would straighten out intake all would be well.
