Weld pro star question please help..
Ok I'm borrowing a freinds Peo Stars on my 02 Z28. His wheel are from a 93 Z28.
He grounded the hell out of my front and rear calipers but the rears won't fit when tighten all the way down.
What back spacing do i need for 15x3.5 and 15x8 they I don't need spacers for the rears.. Front has spacers. But what do all the LS1 guys run for weld pro stars.

BTW: I forgot to ask, the wheels are deffinatly hitting the caliper and not the inner wheel well right? When I ground my rears acouple of weeks ago I had to load the suspension because the tire was hitting the bump stop and part of the wheel well.

You really should get some longer studs for the front if your using a spacer. Although, I never got around to putting longer studs in the front and I havn't had any issues in the couple of years that I've had my skinnies. There is always the possibility of breaking one though, I've seen it happen on a newer Mustang with Prostars.

Both the 15x10s (7.5bs) and 15x8s (5.5bs) should fit about the same and sit in the same location. You might have to grind just a touch more for the 15x10. I went 15x10 so I had more of a choice with tire selection and they look good too. You can run a small spacer if you want in the rear but deffinatly get some hardend longer studs.
Are you using paint or a machinest dye to see exactly where it's hitting? When I did mine it seemed like it was hitting everywhere but after painting the caliper and puting the wheel on it was only acouple of problem areas.
