Arrow No fuel

Ok im having a problem, i was driving home last night and when i was half a mile away from the girlfriends house the car just dies. So i sit there and check all guages to make sure everything is cool and then try to start it again but no luck. It wants to start its just i checked the fuel rail and there is no fuel in the rail. I just had a brand new walbro 340 pump installed and a new fuel sump. What could be my problems and how can i fix them?

same as every other time you troubleshoot the fuel system.

1. check the relay.

2. if the relay is working, or bypassing doesnt fix it, check for power going to the tank plug.

3. if the tank plug has power, you'll have to assume that:
  1. the pump is bad. not likely cause its new.
  2. the connector to the pump fell off inside the tank. or some other oddball wiring mishap

because you JUST worked on the pump, my guess would be 3b if its not the relay.

Can you hear the pump cycle when you turn the key? I bet the pumps bad or the line came off the pump.
