Default 3.73 gears?

i've 2.73 gears right now..
now, if i change to 3.73 gears, what all would have to be done to make sure that everything else 'knows' about the 3.73s and works with them ? will my speedometer work accurately still, for example?

As far as the spedo, it'll need to be recalibrated...I had my done by a shop that has HP Tuners..You will need to get gears for a series 2 carrier...

If you have 2.73's I think you have to change to a different carrier as well as gears.

any of the sponsors that sell gears should have that option. If u don't see it just give them a call specify it.

The 2 series 3.73 gears are fairly common, should have no problem finding them.

PCM will need reprogramming. I have heard those hand held ones **** up your computer and will need to be wiped if tune via laptop later. Not good. Use the laptop software.
