Default M/T Drag Radial questions??

How much air is everyone running in these tires at the track and on the street? I have the 255/50/16 on my car. Do I have to heat them up alot or just enough to clean them off? How long should they last?

Do NOT do burnouts with those tires. A quick spin to clean them off is fine. I've taken to running mine at 25 PSI when I'm doing the DD thing and around 15 PSI for the track. The tire store put 35 PSI in them and the car wandered all over in corners and around ruts. After I dropped the pressure, that nonsense went away. I did one long 6 K RPM 150' burnout on these things and they got UGLY. They looked like they were dry rotted but are slowly starting to look normal again. I currently have 4K miles on them with 75% tread left. The Nitto 555RII's I had before were completely bald at 2K miles.

I use 12 psi at the track and 35 on the street. I do about a 5 second burnout.
I've got the 325 50 15's. Best 60ft was 1.58. (NA run on nitrous motor w/ 3:42 gears)
Got air a few times last night.

I paid $306 shipped to my door. My car had nittos on it. The m/t drags hook alot better than my nittos. The tread wear is 0 on the m/t drags. I hope to make it through summer.
