Default Jet Hot headers and Catted Y question

I did some research and came up with a few questions. I found a deal for Jet hot LT's with a removable catted Y for $950 shipped, including O2 extenders. Here's the questions:

1. Is this a good deal? Is there anywhere that I can find this set up for cheaper? it breaks down to 510 the for LT's, 400 for the Y and 40 for the o2 extenders.

2. If this set up passes emissions in Philidelphia what are the odds it will pass in CA (not including visual tests)?

3. should I be worried about having code issues or the service engine light come on after the install?

Thanks for the help.

1. Personally I would get some pacesetters and tsp catted y. 950$ sounds a little high to me.
2. Visual test will yeild a fail, but it will pass the sniffer after a tune.
3. No you should'nt have any problems with codes, if you do you can swing by autozone and they will delete them for free.

Thanks for your help. Is there anyother reason to go with pacesetters and tsp vs. Jet hot other than the price?

As far as I know, they are basically the same thing. Save some money and get the pacesetters. Heres a thread that will help you out with your decision. https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-external-engine/254352-jet-hot-vs-pacesetter-lt-s.html

Well, I am not sure on catted y prices, but I got my jet-hots for 450 shipped to my door during a sale a few months ago. I have been very happy with them and they bolted right up. I can't comment on the pacesetters to much because nobody I know around here has them.

I own the Jet hots and their catted Y.

1. Don't buy their Y pipe. The headers are top notch. The Y pipe sucks. It has so many connections that it ALWAYS leaks unless you weld. And with the coating, it doesn't weld easily. Plus, it doesn't flow well. One pipe is just welded into the side of another. Buy some carsound cats, and have a shop make you a Y pipe with the flowmaster collector. It'll fit and flow better, and it'll cost less.

2. Won't pass visual (cats are moved and aren't detectable, the are 3" round and slide INSIDE of the pipes). 50/50 shot of passing sniffer.

3. SES light came on for me. It was the rear o2 sensors that said my "cats" weren't working.
