Does anyone know the best way to remove and replace the power steering pulley on an LS1?

I am sure the answer is simply to use a puller, but where can I get one? Is that something I can rent at my local Autozone/Murrays etc? Do I need anything special? Any tips or tricks or anything I need to know?

I am swapping out the stock one for a Turn One pulley, if anyone is curious. Thanks in advance.

That helps me get the pulley off, how do I putt the new pulley on? Never done this before.

Same tool installs the stock pulley. Don't know about the fancy one you are putting on.

Killer, I assumed so but wanted to make sure.

It is the Turn One pulley, that can be seen here:

Guys on the board here have bought it direct for cheaper. Kinda blingy, but better than the factory plastic one.

Does anyone know if the lingenfilter pulley is the same size as the stock one? The pulley seems heavier will this effect anything? Thanks

I bought a Synister Motorsports billet aluminum pulley for my 2002 Firehawk but haven't installed it yet. I have been searching post to find out how to do this myself. Seems pretty staight forward but what about the radiator coolant tube? Don't you have to take this loose to gain access for pulley puller?

I bought the pulley remover and installer from habor freight, the piece did not fit so good and i had to grind it a little to fit. Not sure if theres enough room to pull the pulley with the radiator in the way, i had the radiaitor out when i did mine.

It is pretty straight forward, the coolant tube is a pain but you can push it down alittle. I rented the tool from AutoZone and installed mine in about an hour.
