Special Edition Vehicles - Proud New Owner

I am the proud new owner of a 2002 SOM WS6 M6 Trans Am convertible. I'll get it washed up and post some pics over the next couple of days!! 12,000 miles and absolutely mint! And to boot, I have found out from Marty @ ASC that it was the last one of the 32 SOM/M6/Verts that they made. :drive:

Congratulations! I hope you will use it as weekend car instead of a daily driver. That car is so cherry, it would be nice to see it the same garage kept condition 10 years from now. Even if I was totally broke, I would find a way to get at least a $1,500 beater to keep the WS6 fresh.

I'll use it as my "fair" weather car and plan to put on about 3K - 4K/year.

Daily drive it, enjoy every monent of it what's the point to have it if you don't enjoy it every day.
It's like having Pamela Anderson as a girlfriend for the weekend fun only and the rest of the week you bang the ugly hairy fat one.

Congrats man, I know how you feel about the SOM cars. I have a rare vert myself and it is a nice weekend car. I need to try to locate someone that can tell me what build # I was for the SOM SS vert in 2001. I already know its 1 of 37 and only 1 of 2 with all SLP options but that's cool as hell that you know you got the last SOM vert. Enjoy that ride and get us some pics soon

would be my dream car...Looked @ an '02 SOM WS6 w/ t-tops, black leather, six-speed, 12 disc changer...it had EVERYTHING I wanted, but the price was outta my league @ the time...I love my formula, don't get me wrong, but that car is BAD!!! Congrats!!! :)

I called ASC to get the ASC# and Marty ended up sending me an e-mail with additional info. I don't thinkhe normally does that, but I had asked him if he could provide any other detail on my car other than the ASC# I would be very greatful. He happened to recognize that mine was the last one they did of the 32.

I paid in the low 20's. I didn't mind the price being from Canada, our dollar is alot stronger than it was 12 months ago - I saved at least $10,000 by buying it in the US!

Yes they are SOM
NO they (Calipers & ROTORS) are not factory anymore , I will try to get a pic up for you :cheers:
I do still have the factory boxed away :D
