Default Fired My 441 yesterday

I fired my new 441 CID motor late yesterday afternoon and drove it up and down the street a couple of times. It feels very strong.
I put it on the dyno and it made 520 RWHP and 496 RWT right off the bat. The problem is this new computer system ( yes, it's a C6) just shuts it off at 6100 RPM. We have to figure out what's going on here. It's not the rev limiter, but it acts just like one. I know others have been having this probem too. I'll have to make some calls today and see if anyone has the cure.
The HP curve is still heading up and the torque is still almost flat. If you extrapolate the torque curve another 700 RPM, it looks like it will go about 555 RWHP. This is all with no additional tuning up top.
It idles fine and is smooth as silk. I lugged it down to 800 RPM in second and it just rolled along like a stocker. No bucking or surging. A great combination.
It's going to the track tomorrow, so we'll see what it'll do.

Look in the torque management tables for some additional rev limiters. My Tahoe had the same problem with top speed governor and rev limiter. Raising the rev limiter and top speed governors in the appropriate tables weren't enough. There were secondary controls to the throttle by wire buried in the torque management section. You may want to look there.
