Help changed tranny and getting alot of trouble codes
I changed out my trans with a rebuilt one with all new electronics this past week. Started the car up and getting all these codes. I checked all the grounds on the car and they are good. I check that the plugs are in and the pins arn't damaged. the wire harness isn't crimped between the trans and the engine. I don't know what the heck is wrong with this car. Here is a list of the trouble codes:
P0443 Evap control System purge control valve circuit
P0449 Evap control System vent valve/ sol circuit malfunction
P0740 TCC circuit, malfunction
P0748 PC solenoid electrical
P0753 Shift Solenoid A, Electrical
P0758 Shift Solenoid B, Electrical
P0785 Shift timing solenoid malfunction
P1860 TCC PWM solenoid circuit
Any ideas would be great.

I am having some of those problems. I did a H/C and LT install. I pulled the motor out from the top and left the tranny in, when I put the motor back in, I noticed my tranny wasn't shifting right. Somehow when I pulled the motor I had unhooked the speed sensor and a larger one in front of the speed sensor out. Once I plugged those back in I threw:
P1860 P0785 P0753 P0740
I didn't purposly pull them out, but somehow they were disconneted. Now the tranny is having trouble shifting when I leave it in drive. If I do it manually there is no problem. I think I may have done some damage to it when they were not connected.
Good Luck, if I find something out, I'll let you know.

If you got the trans from a shop that already had one built where they pull a unit of the shelf and swap yours then the wiring harness may differ slightly internally. The other thing to check is the fuses. If the trans loses it 12 volt power source then all the electronics cease to function. I know you mentioned the grounds but double check. If the motor was tilted alot during the trans swap then something in the engine compartment could have been pulled loose. Good luck....
