Default Any ideas for keeping the bottle cool??

I would like to keep the bottle in my car, but it gets to hot sitting in the sun at work. I have the bottle here(see pic) with the gym bag over it, right in the middle of the driver and pass seat. Sometimes when I leave it in the car, I check the bottle pressure and it's pushing 1400psi

Besides tinting the windows. Any ideas???

Thanks,

Jason

There isn't much you can do, short of putting a solar powerd A/C unit in there. For me, race time is race time and work time is work time. I only put the bottle in when it's time to go play. If you keep pushing the limits of the burst panel, you gunna have a nice empty bottle one day when you come out.

NX Fire and Ice, bottle heater/cooler. Also, a real bottle blanket will help.

Yeah, a real bottle blanket will help alot. Mine is in the direct sun and I very rarley see 1,400psi. Usually on a real hot day in the sun it will get up to about 1,200psi max.

or at least a lighter color gym bag, black attracts heat. NX Fire and Ice might be a good addition, not sure if it would kill your battery after 8 hours of sitting at work though.

NX jacket first. And if the budget allows a fire and ice. But you will need to modify the jacket, it does not provisions for the fire and ice to come throu.. One more cheap point, jacket with some cold packs. The kind that stay soft but you put them in the freezer.
